Thank you to all that helped and contributed to our collection held at Tescos in June. Generous shoppers donated a grand total of £446 in our collection buckets which will all go towards providing our free service to those that need it.
Shopmobility hosted a fabulous party on 21st June to celebrate our 25th birthday with many of the people that have helped create the successful service we are today.
Chairman, Alan Switalski, gave the celebration speech, outlining the difference that Shopmobility has made in Wycombe over its 25 years: helping over 6500 people with customers spending over £10million pounds in the town.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity in 2018 we have exceeded our fundraising goal of £5000 for the year – reaching an impressive £5968 by the end of December.
We are particularly grateful to those who bought tickets in our Christmas Raffle as this raised over £1,150, to those who bought our Christmas Cards raising £178 and to those who contributed to our bag packing collection at Waitrose 2 days before Christmas where £600 was raised. Thank you.
With rising costs and the uncertainty around Brexit this year we are raising our hopes for 2019 and would like to ask for your support to reach a fundraising goal of £6,000 this year. This will help keep our free service running for anyone who needs it into the years to come.
Thank you for your support.
We are very proud to have been awarded the Tom Hillier award for providing an outstanding service. This is a National Award which Shopmobilities are nominated for by their customers for the service they receive when visiting their shop.
We are a small team of 5 part time staff, 12 volunteers and a board of trustees who have always prided ourselves on the fabulous free service we offer to our customers, to be recognised with this National Award is absolutely fantastic.
Well done and congratulations to everyone who makes High Wycombe Shopmobility such a fabulous place to work and visit.
Thank you to everyone that came to our prize bingo night on 14th September at Piddington Village Hall.
We raised a cracking £404 taking us to over £3,000 raised towards our £5,000 fundraising target this year.
All proceeds will go to help Shopmobility run it’s free service in Wycombe
Some of our staff and volunteers will be stationed outside Boots in the Eden Shopping Centre this Friday 20th July from 10am till 4pm. They will be there to talk to you about our mobility scooter and wheelchair service and how it could help you or someone you know. Please come and talk to us on Friday and take one of our leaflets – don’t worry if you miss us though, you can pop into the shop with your questions during our usual opening hours.
