Our friendly, local charity would love to hear from you if you are able to give some time and are keen to help ensure the smooth running of our free Shopmobility scheme, which loans mobility scooters and wheelchairs to people with temporary or permanently limited mobility.
This role, on the Management Committee for registered charity High Wycombe Shopmobility, need not take up much time. Meetings are held 6 times a year and are around 2 hours long. We would appreciate the support of someone who can spare a bit of time to help us keep our policies and practices up to date, support the Manager in the running of the service, and be a “champion” for our valuable and well loved service.
Our charity is a very rewarding one to get involved with and will give you the satisfaction of helping our customers and helping in the community in High Wycombe. If you have a particular set of skills or experience that might be relevant such as HR, Health and Safety, IT, Charity Fundraising, Marketing, Community or Health work or work with people with particular support needs we would be especially happy to hear from you.
